Live from Kanbar! - SFGC's Annual Benefit & Concert

Date
May 13, 2022

Location
Kanbar Performing Arts Center and Online

Join the San Francisco Girls Chorus for an evening of musical celebration!

Our annual fundraiser includes performances by the GRAMMY Award-Winning Premier Ensemble, our Soloist Intensive singers, and the SFGC Chorus School’s Level IV. You’ll enjoy music by Bobby McFerrin, Tania León, Florence Price, and more, conducted by SFGC Artistic Director Valérie Sainte-Agathe. Help us reach our goal of raising $150,000 in support of SFGC’s Music Education Programs and the Elizabeth Avakian Need-Based Scholarship Fund.

Support the event with an In-Person Ticket and be part of our "live studio audience" at the Kanbar Performing Arts Center, complete with a preshow cocktail hour! You can also enjoy the festivities from your home with a free virtual ticket, or a VIP virtual ticket that includes tasty treats delivered to your door and preshow access to SFGC's first 360 video performance!

The event also features a special celebration of composer Pamela Z, this year’s Elizabeth Appling Arts Champion Award recipient, and a live Fund-A-Need to ensure that every young singer is able to access SFGC’s transformative music education programs.
